We are proud of every single Y11 student who picked up their results earlier today. Exam certificates can open doors and provide options: today almost every single one of our students progressed onto the post 16 option they were hoping for.
As usual at Highfields we have our fair share of academic high-fliers including students such as Thomas B, Millie D and Euan H whose AVERAGE GRADE was an 8 (on a scale of 1-9)! And in terms of the progress made from primary school Tallula M was the frontrunner followed by Brooklea S and Maria S. Our biggest congratulations, perhaps, go to three students whose homelife was hugely impacted by events beyond their control in their GCSE year, but who managed with our support to get a strong set of results despite these challenges.
We have loved working with this year group and will never ever forget you. If you are leaving Highfields to explore other options we wish you all the luck in the world and if you are staying with us in sixth form we will see you again soon!
