Once again, our sixth formers have made great progress in their A-levels with some superb results and exciting destinations. Thomas is heading to Oxford to study medicine, having achieved straight A* grades. Vlad continues the tradition of outstanding performance from our Ukrainian students, heading to study Computing and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Bristol with top grades in Maths, Further Maths and Computing; and Hugo will be studying Maths and Statistics at Warwick having achieved three A*s. They represent a strong academic tradition of students going to Russell Group universities. We are delighted with Zara, Phoebe, Jake, Alesha, Henry and Tyler who are all going to study law.
An increased focus on degree apprenticeships has led to several students gaining places in highly competitive fields. Out of many thousands of applicants for a handful of places, Matteo is starting a degree apprenticeship at JCB and Caleb and Jake start their degree apprenticeships at AECOM. Gaining a degree apprenticeship always involves showing great character and commitment outside of your studies and these students, along with so many others in sixth form, contributed a great deal to the school and the local community. We are so proud of this fantastic cohort of students and we have hugely enjoyed their positive energy and commitment.
