A huge well done to year 13 students on an A Level Results Day which has brought a host of excellent stories. This includes many of our students who came to Highfields for Sixth Form, or arrived in year 10 or 11 when English was not their first language. Izabella achieved five A* grades and is heading to Cambridge to do medicine. Emily achieved A*AAB and, having put her heart into extra-curricular activities and work experience, will be studying Veterinary Medicine at Liverpool. Dima achieved A*A*A*; outstanding grades that are taking him to study Mechanical Engineering at Durham, and Olena achieved ABB, which included writing essays in a language which was largely new to her in 2022. The same could be said for Zaid who, with A*AA, is going to the University of Manchester to study Physics. We are also very proud of India whose excellence was rewarded with A*s in Maths and Further Maths and Roma will be studying Mathematics at Durham with A*AA grades. Beyond these individual results we are proud of every single one of our Y13 students and we wish them the very best of luck as they embark on their onward journey.
