Highfields School
Highfields School, Matlock, is a community school maintained by the Derbyshire local authority, specialising in Performing Arts. It is a co-educational, day comprehensive school for students aged 11 to 18 years. The school is situated on two sites, 1.8 miles apart, Starkholmes (Years 7 - 8) and Lumsdale (Years 9 - 13). Work Experience dates for all Year 10 students in June/July 2012 are as follows:
Monday 25th June - Friday 29th June, and Monday 2nd July - Friday 6th July.
This will allow Year 10 students to take part in the school musical, and provide more time for end of year reviews.
